I was born as a lover of simplicity. I don't like 3 flavors of ice cream mixed into one, I want my vanilla and strawberry ice cream placed side by side. I don't like my mom buying me colorful socks, I do want black socks, brown socks, blue socks, but not a pair contains all those colors. I don't like being the center of attention, I want to wear my most comfortable sweater and nobody gives any comment about that.
Time by time, that habit shapes my identity. I like simple things, not other way around. My closet full of plain shirts and jeans. All I can see is black, grey, brown, and blue. A few pink pastel shirt in there too, but it's just because I like certain pastel colors. Even my bedroom wall is painted with brown and blue.
Not only shirts, but I also set my eyes to things that has warm or pastel colors in it; vintage cups, plain brown wallets, sky blue photo frames, even ancient buildings. So I would be so happy if someone asks me to go to antique places or a place that has plain wall paint on their buildings.
The first month of this year is the beginning to me. New year, new journey, they say. Thank God I started it with joy and happiness. Every year, I went to Central Java, going to place by place if we have the time. So, in my way back home, I visited Lawang Sewu in Semarang. Lawang Sewu is a javanese word meaning 'a thousand doors'. Sure it is, a thousand doors. I couldn't even count it. I just enjoyed the view and, of course, took photos. I met my love; plain walls in an ancient building with walnut colored furnitures.
I heard a saying that pictures say thousand words. So I prefer upload those here instead of talking stray.
